Pixels in video recordings are very important to quality of the recording itself! The more pixels the higher quality of the recording.  If you have 1 megapixel cameras the recording may look ok, until you put it next to a 2 megapixel camera recording. You will have twice the pixels to fill in on the monitor screen which will increase the clarity of the video. During normal camera viewing most all cameras look good. It is when you go to recording that you will see the big difference.  So Pixels Matter!!
